In 2013, the STORM electronic music festival made its debut in Shanghai. Approximately 30 DJs graced the festival's two stages, with Headhunter, Fedde Le Grand, and Benny Benassi leading the lineup. Despite being its inaugural edition, the festival drew over 20,000 fans. At the time, China lacked genuine outdoor electronic music festivals, making this event a pioneering milestone in the development of domestic electronic music festivals.
